What’s Right, What’s Wrong?

By Teresa Carr

Secular humanism has dealt society a very dangerous type of religion. In this day and time there has been a lot of blame for the world’s problems attributed to the Christians and even the Jews. This behavior will only get worse because iniquity will abound and evil men will wax worse and worse. They will not confess their crimes and sins to the Lord God of Heaven and receive His Son Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:21-22, 24-26, God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, for this cause God gave them up to vile affections. Paul was speaking of the evil of our day. Evil men and women would follow after their own pleasures and unrighteousness (Romans 1:28-32). Since the beginning of the 20th century technology and population in the United States exploded. The prophecy of Daniel had come to past and the book is unsealed. Deception in the world has become more deceitful. The United States of America is in great jeopardy of losing her freedoms and liberty each day. Evil men devise ways in destroying the Christian foundations that our forefathers made covenant with the God of Israel. Atheists and corrupt politicians place on the bargaining table the price of forsaking the God who gave us this rich land and blessed it.

When America became a new nation the founding fathers dedicated this new life of freedom of religion to the One who made it all possible, the Lord Jesus Christ. When the first settlers landed at Jamestown, Virginia in 1607 it was the very first foundation they had built upon. That foundation was the rock of Christ and His Word. In today’s secular society those who seek their freedoms in the freedom from religion hasn’t stopped there. The force of the secularists who are trying to replace Christian-based America with a tower similar to that of the Tower of Babel where Babylon followed. This has proved devastating to our nation. Since the removal of prayer, the hanging of the Ten Commandments on school walls, and the reading of the Holy Bible have been replaced by police dogs in the hallways, metal detectors at the doors, and chaos in the classrooms. And that’s not all that happens inside the schoolhouse. Secularism has entered into government instead of Biblical morality as the basis of law they substitute moral relativism and anarchy. This extended into our judicial system where lawlessness abounds and mayhem on every level.

Secularism doesn’t stop there. It is leaking into every part of our society that’s what makes this social disease harmful to every household in America. There was an old adage “Families that pray together—stay together” that should be resurrected and in practice even today. The secular humanists sell sex and violence through the media enticing teens and children to try this or that with detrimental consequences. The bible says there is pleasure in sin for a season (Hebrews 11:25), but the wages of sin is death. It’s that sin of one night of pleasure that has destroyed countless valuable lives through abortion, prostitution, homosexuality, pornography, rape, murder, sexually transmitted diseases, drug abuse, violent crimes, and the list goes on. The foundations of the home have been distorted by the promotion of secular propaganda for quick fixes and get all you can dogma. Divorce, homosexual marriage and adoption, and single parent homes have left a trail of shattered lives leaving the ideal family unit an extinct species.

Our society had rejected the holy standards of the bible because men love the darkness than they do the light. When we’re lost in a deep, dark forest without a compass to guide us out in the right direction then we’re in big trouble. This is what will happen when we take the Holy Bible, God’s eternal Word out of society. Listen folks, if we continue to reject God’s Word, and go against His principles, God will eventually remove His hand of blessing from our nation. We’ve seen all the devastation that is happening in this present time. Think what it would be like when all hell splits wide open. What other way shall we live without the Lord God and His Word? I for one don’t want to live without it. God’s Spirit pleads from Isaiah 1:16-17, let us cease to do evil, learn to do what is good; let us seek justice, rebuke the oppressor (Satan); defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Let us stop doing what is wrong, and let us obey the One (Jesus Christ) who knows what is right. We do have to choose a side to stand with in these last days. Christ is coming for His church. He’s coming back for a church that is blameless and without blemish. Judgment will come to this earth, then the end will come. What side will you choose? Is it one nation under God or separation of church and state? The choice is yours. A message to you Christians, if you want to lead others out of the darkness of sin, let them see the light of Christ in your life.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord – Psalm 33:12
